ABOUT US
We offer services for companies, groups, families, and individuals.
Who We Are
Person Centered Agency
We are a person-centered agency. Being a person-centered agency means that we put the individual—especially their values, preferences, goals, and needs—at the heart of all planning, decision-making, and service delivery.
Here’s what it involves:
- Individualized Services: Services are tailored to the person, not a “one-size-fits-all" model.
- Respect for Autonomy: The person is seen as the expert in their own life. Their choices are respected, even if they differ from what staff or professionals might suggest.
- Strengths-Based Approach: Focus is placed on the person’s abilities, interests, and goals rather than limitations or diagnoses.
- Collaborative Planning: The individual actively participates in creating their individualized service plan (ISP).
- Dignity and Respect: All interactions aim to uphold the dignity, rights, and voice of the person being served.
- Holistic View: Support considers all aspects of the person’s life—physical, emotional, social, and spiritual—not just a specific issue or diagnosis.
In short, it’s about shifting from “What’s wrong with you and how do we fix it?” to “Who are you and how can we support you in living the life you want?”
